Our Rentals Department was established more than 27 years ago and we have a wide knowledge of central and south west London. We are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).
We have an established database of properties. We maintain good relationships with our clients by providing regular communication whilst a property is in the process of being let and continuing that communication throughout a tenancy. We encourage both landlords and tenants to drop into our office, whether it be for a social call or to seek advice on any issue pertaining to the property.
As part of our letting service we will:
-
Value your property and advise on ways to enhance its letting potential in the current market.
- Market your property, arranging for photographs on our web-site, on Primelocation and in magazines.
- Submit all offers to our client and negotiate the terms of the tenancy.
- Take up references, including bank and employment. If a bank reference is not available then we will seek references from a UK based guarantor.
- Prepare the tenancy agreement. This document is constantly updated and checked by our legal advisors to ensure that it keeps pace with current legislation.
- Arrange for an inventory to be prepared and a check-in to take place, using the services of a professional inventory clerk.
- Arrange for utilities to be transferred.
- Collect and pay on the rent promptly as instructed.
- Ensure that the tenancy is properly terminated including checking-out the tenants and recommending where necessary any repairs and redecoration.
